I love Oklahoma. When we first found out that was where we were going I wasn't so excited but we have been having so much fun. Like here for example. We've finally started TRYING to cook every night. This is one of ben's nights. Lol. I got this cute skirt apron for a wedding present and Ben just wanted to get the full effect.

No Power

So Yesterday after being in our house for only 2 weeks.....our power gets shut off :( It was not fun. We didn't have any flashlights and we only had 2 little candles which did not give off any light. It was quite the experience. You never realize how much you take for granted. We had no air conditioner, fan, bathroom light, t.v., radio, stove, refrigerator, garage opener, alarm clock, computer and our phones were dead! Luckily, everything came back on today.

Here is a few pictures of our home, I know a few people were curious what it looked like. We've finally settled in. It's an old one but it's cozy. Please come visit sometime.

So today Ben was setting up his fantasy football team and I know all the girls have talked about playing in a league of our own so let's do it! Ben helped me set up a league so let me know if any of you want to be in it. The league is called THE KEARNS SISTAS :) but you don't have to be a Kearns to be in it. Lets show those guys up. I'm finally writing a post! We just barely got to Oklahoma on Saturday night. Our plan was to live on the base but once we got here they told us the wait was 6 months :/ That's no good. So as of right now we are living out of the base hotel. Yesterday we went and looked for a place to live and we found a decent home that is for rent and just so happens to have a military clause. So we filled out an application and if we get approved we will hopefully be in there in no time. Other than that life is great out here. It's such a small town but I'm sure we will both grow to love it. I'm so excited for Ben. This is such an amazing opportunity to be apart of the air force. I feel like we're in good hands. :) I'll keep everyone updated with our situation. The pictures are of me at my new school and the cute pilots coming out of class on the base.
